We give below copy of memo BY4/H.12.3.26:- "We have had one case of this tube bending on test, undoubtedly due to driving fast over a hump-backed bridge, but in addition we have had a number of complaints from outside sources where roads are bad, in countries like Australia and Spain. In order to eliminate this fault, I wish to put a reinforcement tube in the straight length of the suspension member. Will you kindly make a layout and let me look at it". Scheme 743 has been approved by Mr Bailey. Will you please try out one experimental set of parts to attached drawings E.53933/4, as soon as possible, so that same, if satisfactory, may be instructed for production.
