1020. To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/JD.{J. We attach to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH's copy the original of :- PL.516 - Accelerator Pedal. The above scheme shows the accelerator pedal for the Mith chassis, which is fitted on to the top of the frame by two straps welded to a cross tube in which rotates a tube running in oilite bushes, with the accelerator pedal lever and the operating lever at opposite ends. We have not provided any adjustment by the pedal stems as we feel they should not be necessary. This design of the accelerator pedal modifies the brake pedal lever slightly from the design shown on PL.445, at the same time it should be noticed we have removed the adjustment on the pedal stems of both the brake and clutch pedal levers. We have also had to modify our proposed design of the dashboard mounting bracket as shown on PL.442, will Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG. please note. The actual length of the operating lever will have to be decided when designing the carburetter controls. Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/JD.{J.
