X-3908 To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Bn.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} c. to Ck.{Mr Clark} X 3908 RE DISPOSAL OF GASES FROM BREATHER PIPE. Bn{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}2/W23.3.20. With reference to Mr. Royce's suggestion, I send you herewith copy of Sp{Mr Spinney}2/HW/19320. You have suggested that a more convenient means of dealing with these fumes would be to bring the outlet of the Breather Pipe close up to the intake for the high speed jet on the Carburetter so that all gases from the engine body would be sucked through the Carburetter. I think it would be well if you issued a report to Mr. Royce on this in order that the job may go on. You will see from Mr. Spinney's note that everybody is very anxious about this. 1 enc. Bn.{W.O.
