Mr Northey is actually using the other Standard Car which arrived a few days ago - Until further notice I have been instructed to make our Depot my head quarters & pick up Mr Northey, when instructed to, at Monte Carlo, Hotel de L'Hermitage, where he is staying as from to-day.
I will forward Time & expenses sheets for week ending last Saturday, at a later date for I have been unable to have them initialed by Mr Northey yet -
I have to-day received a further amount toward expenses of £50, for which I thank you - I am acknowledging receipt to the Cashier direct -
I regret to state that I have to-day received a letter from my people dated the 11th inst. & readdressed to me from Derby, informing me that my Father 87 years old was at the death point with progressive paralysis - I am wiring to-morrow to know if he is still alive, in which case I would communicate with Mr Northey to obtain permission to rush to Naples if still in time - Should I have to absent myself I would wire you accordingly.
Yours faithfully
S.H. Lauro.
