(2) (1) These are the first double acting shock dampers with unequal action, preferably 3 or 4 to 1. (2) They are reasonably independent of the viscosity of the fluid. (3) They are arranged for forced filling of the suction end of the cylinder (high speed action.) (4) They are fitted with replenishing valves and restricted outlet to discharge air governed by non-return valve.
