Dear Sirs, Thank you for your letter of the 8th. inst. Concerning the Distance Piece No.B.3829 we are making arrangements to produce this piece ourselves. As this piece will have to be supplied lose with the bumper, we shall not send these parts to your works, but will expect a reduction of 2/2d. per bumper in result. I think you will find that by using mild steel for the end stud forgings you will be able to use one of your standard parts. In the case of our sample bumpers you used standard parts unground.
