STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS. Date 11.11.29
Description of Parts. Alteration to rear brake leverages.
Origin. To reduce the effect of wear on pedal travel.
Experimental Test Report.
We find that under certain extreme conditions the pedal travel becomes excessive before the brakes have been worn very much.
Road Test Report.
We have run 10,000 miles on 22-EX with this direct leverage and 30° cams. We have also run cars with 30, 35, 40 & 45 cams. We consider the matter is sufficiently important to justify us bringing it on production as soon as possible.
