Attention Mr. F.{Mr Friese} Ll Smith.

Dear Sirs,

We have to acknowledge with many thanks receipt of your letter of the 13th inst, and note that you are kindly arranging to supply us with two flywheels and fitting studs for same, with a view to carrying out further check on the clutches now being supplied, and this we think will be of considerable assistance.

In connection with the question raised of packing clutches in cartons, please be advised that the 11" Clutches have never been packed in cartons by us, but we do feel that it would be as well for proper storage racks to be arranged with a view to avoiding distortion, which may arise when the clutches are packed in piles.

Remarks contained in the concluding paragraph of your letter have been duly noted, we understand that you have had some conversation with our Mr Armitage on this matter, and that you now agree to accept clutches with a release lever tolerance of .010". In this regard we shall be pleased to have your confirmation.

Yours faithfully,
BORG & BECK COMPANY LIMITED.
