M.R. 235 b(200 T)(S.P. 103, 25-10-18) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 2244 COPY. To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Bn.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} c. to EH. Bn{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}14/F29.5.19. INSTRUMENT BOARD - FUEL GUAGE. With reference to your note recommending that the red mark on the dial of the fuel gauge should be omitted owing to the pump now being arranged to pump up to 3 lbs. pressure, is it now intended that we should run at 3 lbs. instead of 2 lbs. I thought we had a release valve which blew off consistently at 2 lbs. and that the pump being arranged to pump up to 3 lbs. is merely in order that wemay have a surplus. If this is so there seems to be little point in leaving off the red mark. Will you please inform me. Bn.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} | ||
