| x262 To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} re Mr.E.R.Hall. Le Mans and T.T. Referring to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/MJ.7.3.36 and our conversation when you were here, I am pleased to note what you say in paragraph 2 and I quite agree what you say in paragraph 3. I understand that in any case (as you say) the develop-ment of the big bore engine will have to go on irrespective of Mr.Hall so that money spent in endeavouring to obtain more HP will not all be in the interests of this racing job only. I agree to your preparing a large bore unit for his use for competitions which will be fitted in the standard chassis which he has ordered. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
