Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
Derby.

Dear Sirs:

We beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 27th inst., regarding Thermometers, and we would inform you that our ordinary motor car type of instruments are not suitable for dial readings of 0-100°C or 50-150°C. These ranges come outside the range of the ordinary ether Thermometer.

We are, therefore, passing your letter to our Aircraft Dept., as they list an instrument which should be satisfactory for your purpose.

Assuring you of our best attention.

Yours faithfully
FOR S. SMITH & SONS (MOTOR ACCESSORIES) LIMITED.

Podor
ENGINEER.
