X.4338 - GOSHAWK II ELECTRICAL SYSTEM.

Will you kindly note it has been agreed that the warning plates as regards running the 20 H.P. without the battery, should be fixed in duplicate, one on the battery box and one on the generator itself, (not as previously instructed on the instrument board), the actual wording being in accordance with R3/M19.7.23, as follows :-

WARNING.
TO AVOID DAMAGE BY ACCIDENTAL USE OF CHARGING SWITCH WHEN THE BATTERY IS OUT OF ORDER OR DISCONNECTED, DETACH THE CENTRAL (EXCITING) WIRE FROM THE DYNAMO.

We should be glad if you would instruct for suitable plates to be got out.

In the meanwhile, we will take up the question with Mr. Walker of inserting additional instructions in the Instruction Book.
