X3117 Experimental Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}1/KT. Sept 18th 1933. Donald Sessions & Co, Ltd., 906 Harrow Road, Willesden, London. N.W.10. For the attention of Mr. Donald Sessions. Dear Sirs, Thank you for your letter of the 16th inst. We note that you have examined the damaged front jack belonging to 38-MY (Sir Norman Watson). We have had a previous complaint from our production test dept. of a jack working down, but we did not take very much notice of it because no proof was available that the jack had been properly tightened up into its case. We are pleased to hear that you propose to incorporate a special safety catch in all our future jacks. We shall be pleased if you can let us have a sample of a jack so fitted as soon as you have one available. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
