C. to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} US. WM. re. BRAKE EQUALISER CROSSMEMBER.
25HP. '101' ONWARDS IN 'T' SERIES.
Y5830.

The question of the new backward position of this cross-
member at 41" from the dash has been investigated relative to
standard coachwork, and it is believed that it will cause no serious
difficulties. There will be a slight pot in the well for the
feet of the passengers on extra seats in the 6 seater enclosed
limousine.

We hope in this series to bring through a few special
chassis for the special touring saloon, and as you have indicated
in ink on the print you sent us the equalisers foul the sunken floor
of the rear compartment. This is serious as we have a great
desire to give as much room as possible, and do not want to reduce
the depth of the well.

If you could arrange by extra care in erection to place
the crossmember 39" from the dash it would make a vast difference.

We are sorry to appear to be pressing this point unduly
but we are anxious that subsequent bodies may be as roomy as 20-G-4.
