HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} LES See me DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/M10.12.31. G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} CX.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} SIDE WHEEL CARRIERS. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} x7600 x5600 x7260 x5260 We are anxious to receive a report from you re. the schemes you have tested for steadying the side wheel carrier on P. 2., and 25HP., when diamond engine mounting is used. This is of great importance as Sales are anxious to standardise a lengthened bonnet on both cars at an early date, and so the stay from the dash to the carrier is ruled out. We believe you have told Sales that all our suggestions have proved abortive. We would like to hear from you telling us where the elasticity is that has caused our internal triangula-tion to be useless. This would enable us to attack the problem from a new angle.
