Messrs. Ferodo Ltd.,
Chapel-en-le-Frith,
England.

Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. Field.

We are in receipt of the oil impregnated brake lining which you have sent us.

We find that the pieces supplied are to our drawings Nos. G.4574, which is the 40/50 HP. car rear foot brake, and G.50990 which is our 20 HP. hand brake. We are therefore unable to try out a complete set of these linings on either car.

We are sending you drawings Nos. G.52251 and G.51786 which are the linings we require for the 20 HP. We should be obliged if you could let us have two complete sets of oil impregnated linings of Ferodo bonded asbestos to these piece numbers.

In addition, for the 40/50 HP. we should like a second set of rear linings to G.4574 in Ferodo bonded asbestos and 2 sets of G.70007 in the same material for the front brakes of this car.

With reference to the two other friction linings of which we have samples. We should like to try these on the 20 HP. car. Will you therefore please let us have one complete set to G.52251 and G.51786 in each of these materials.

We should be obliged if you could expedite the delivery of this material as far as possible as we are anxious to conclude these tests.

Yours faithfully,
