We are, therefore, carrying out modifications to our design whereby the blower will be mounted in some suitable way relative to the induction pipe and the bottom of the drive casing will be steadied from the engine crankchamber by means of a link.

Another point that is receiving consideration is provision for arranging for alternative ratios of drive in the bevel box, and for using a smaller diameter of rotor at high speed which works into the design better. The schemes are making good progress and we anticipate shortly being able to instruct the blower drive unit.
