We would point out the greater road contact area of the new tyres under the same load, that the rubber in contact with the road is increased and that the length of the Nonskid Edges is also increased slightly. The weight of this new tyre is 26.9 lbs. as against the previous weight of 26 lbs. We would be pleased to have your report of these tyres after you have completed the tests which you propose to carry out.
