A.{Mr Adams} Robotham, Esq., Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. Dear Mr. Robotham, We are today despatching 15 India Speed Special Covers in the design similar to that which we showed you on our visit to Derby. These have been directed to:- C. W. Hancock Esq., Hotel de France, Chateauroux, Indre, FRANCE. The tread has been made slightly wider, flatter and thicker with a view to improving the general performance of the tyre. We think that the Nonskid properties will be slightly better than the present design which you are now using and that the wearing qualities will be superior to our present tyre. The attached Road Contact Prints which we have made might be of interest to you. The comparative figures on the two designs are as follows:- Present Design. New Design.
