Customer's No. X 3378 Re Dismantling of P&R BDT11-7 Battery (Mk4) This battery has run nearly 10,000 miles on the road & since 26-6-25 it has been used as a duty battery but it failed to hold its charge for any length of time. Some cells being discharged within the short time of 12 hours. Showing negative weakness on the cadmium. The box was in a good sound condition & also the cell to cell links were clean & sound. The cell cases were good & sound. Only about 1/8" of sediment had collected in the bottom this being about 1/2" clear of the plates.
