Archer} CHATRE ROAD. We have received notice of this accident and are reporting the matter to the Insurers today. We should be glad to have your confirmation that the accident was immediately reported to Mr.Parsons. We would draw your attention to the fact that under the terms of the insurance of Cars in France - temporary repairs may be effected at reasonable expense to the Underwriters and such steps taken as are necessary to ensure the safety of the vehicle. Permanent repairs not exceeding £35 may be executed at once providing a detailed estimate is first obtained and forwarded. When the cost of repairs exceeds £35 the written consent of the Underwriters must be obtained before repairing or altering the damaged vehicle, in order that the Underwriters' Surveyor may have an opportunity, if desired, of first examining the car.
