Car [handwritten] Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 19/h.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 27th October, 1941. Dear Breeden, Thank you for your letter of October 23rd. Though I did not like to remind you of your crash, I think the hub front bearing failure may have had something to do with this. The misfiring is persistant and has not yet been traced to its source. We are going to be terribly slow on our car drawings from now onwards, because Lucas has swamped us with Tank work which we are delighted to do but regret having to decrease our already tortoise-like rate of progress on autombbiles. Yours sincerely, C.L. Breeden, Esq., Messrs. Wilmot-Breeden Ltd., EasternWorks, BIRMINGHAM, 1. | ||
