CENTRALISED CHASSIS LUBRICATION - X.7350
REAR AXLE. X.3806

Herewith we send N.sch.2602 - arrangement of the Enots-Bijur lubrication on the back axle.

The main universal joint is still to be in what remains of the Bijur system. The serrated joint and ball bearing and torque tube, and the brake camshafts, are filled at long intervals from the Enots nipple on the torque tube. The spring pads have been dealt with by taking them out of the lubrication system altogether.

We have endeavoured to simplify the piping by removing some of the banjos and junctions. It may be found possible to dispense with the junction in front of the rear torque tube flange. When the axle is dismounted the whole piping system comes off in one unit.
