WRAITH 111 - MODIFIED REAR CRANKCASE FLANGE.

E.CD.24 Rear View of Crankcase showing rear flange modified for ease of production.

This has been altered in accordance with the request in RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}1/LS.12.8.37. to facilitate the trimming of the flange.

The clutch casing should be made to match the crankcase.

The pedals are being re-designed with a view to deleting the pedal stop on clutch casing, and if it is necessary to clear away a portion of the crankcase joint flange to clear the clutch pedal this will be called for on the pedal design. This alteration should be applied as soon as possible to the details so as to be included in the next engine built.
