Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 3rd inst., and the diagrams of the Marles gear. The writer has several urgent matters concerning our large gear which he wishes to discuss with you and for the purpose of the discussion we have prepared one of the large gears with the sides of the box cut away so that the working can be examined. If it is convenient to you, the writer would like to come to Luton next Thursday and would arrive at about 10.45 a.m. We are sending the steering gear to you in advance.
