Owner's Complaint: Rear axle failure. Cause: Broken O/S rear axle shaft driving dog. Work done: Axle removed and as a temporary measure, unit from Chassis No.B.99.BN{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} fitted, so that owner could use car which he required urgently. Remarks: Car was brought in by us by lorry from Tolworth, Surrey, on Saturday morning and delivered to owner same morning, owner being informed verbally that we had only fitted a temporary axle. We are now fitting new driving shaft and new type driving dogs to damaged axle to be refitted on car at owner's convenience. Written to by Pk re this. Approx. Cost: £11. Company cost.
