Geoffrey Smith will be going for his holidays, I think at the end of this week, and he suggested that if he could put in a couple of days with your testers on the Bentley he would be very glad to do so. Of course he would keep it confidential, but at the same time he would take some photographs of the car in mountainous districts and so on, which I think would be very useful propaganda for us after the first excitement of issuing the Bentley has died away. It would be much more interesting to have articles written round photographs showing what the car has done, than the ordinary stuff.

Could you please, therefore, let me know whether you would see any objection to this, and if not, where you suggest Geoffrey Smith might pick up your people - presumably Hancock?

I mentioned it to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} and he thinks the idea a good one, if it can work in with your plans. As a matter of fact, he would be the first outside amateur on the car, and I should be interested to hear his views on it, and I have no doubt you will also.
