Re Chassis Jacks.

From E/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}1/HP.17.3.37 it will be seen that it has been decreed that the portable D.W.S. hydraulic jack shall be used on Bentley III and Wraith III. This Jack operates on extensions from the front and rear dumb irons of the frame.

In the case of both Bentley III and Wraith III the front suspensions are being redesigned and therefore the frame extensions and bumper fixings are already held up, but in the case of both Bentley III and Wraith III the frame rear dumb irons have been instructed.

In view of the decision to use these jacks it will be necessary to hold up the forgings for the dumb irons and rear spring shackle for both Bentley III and Wraith III.
