1166. W/LH.{Mr Haworth} RC.{R. Childs} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry{Shadwell Grylls}7/R.22.3.37. Thank you for your memo of the 19th about Jacks. We had rather hoped that by fitting these Jacks on Trials cars they would get extensive use. We thought that the car would be jacked up every day for washing purposes; apparently this is not so. If you could, in future, use the Jacks every day, such as when washing the wheels, we should be grateful for the information as to how soon they give trouble. Could you also leave the car jacked up all night ? Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} | ||
