Dear Green, We have been running through a few of the items which are at present waiting for the attention of the Body Work Section of the Chassis Division. We appreciate that for the next month you will not be able to give them your undivided attention but you will probably like to be sure that Hewitt is concentrating on the high spots, and also that Ward is contributing his quota and making the necessary progress. The list I have compiled is as follows: 1. Ensure that Wilmot Breedon gets the ventilating window sample and other outstanding pieces of hardware so that he can quote against the prices that have already been obtained by Ward. 2. That Ward prepares a full-size drawing of the spare wheel at the back of the Ripplette body. 3. That we consider a "Vee" type windscreen and American type instrument panel for the next new Experimental body. 4. That we line up the specification for seats, particularly front seats. At the moment we are trying to get drawings of both the bucket type seat and the Vanvooren tubular seat. We understand that an exceptionally good - Continued - | ||
