- 2 - Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}17/ML. example of the tubular type seat is available on Jack Barclay's new Bentley. The front seats on Lp{Mr Lappin}'s car, the first of the new B.V's, are horrible. 5. Ward has got a most revolting sample of rexine which he has fitted to Lp{Mr Lappin}'s car. We have now got to get a good sample of rexine and a leather to match it for the next Experimental car. 6. There are a large number of faults on the first of the production B.V's as delivered to Lp.{Mr Lappin} We have got to take all these up with Ward and ensure that they are rectified. 7. We have got to go over the rationalised range of 4 light and 6 light limousine bodies with Ward. 8. We have got to ensure that Park Wards produce detail drawings of the B.V. body. 9. We have got to ensure that we get a weight analysis of the B.V. body. 10. We have to make drawings of what we want to do to prevent scuttle shake on the coupe and issue them to Ward. 11. We have got to produce a rationalised spare wheel cover. 12. We have designed a new front pivot to enable us to increase ground clearance of our cars. It necessitates a wide front track. The frame of the car is also raised 2" at the front and rear. We have got to see how we can use the rationalised B.V. body on this raised motor car and produce a reasonable appearance with a minimum of modification to the existing wings. We have got to modify the Cresta headlamps. I should like to discuss with you the exact procedure with regard to issuing instructions to Ward as, now that we have our own Body Division, he is really in a position of sub-contractor. - Continued - | ||
