Attention Mr. F.{Mr Friese} Ll Smith.

Dear Sirs,

We have to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 18th inst, and note that our revised quotations, covering our Models 10.A6 and 11.A6 Clutches, are now receiving your consideration.

We would advise that the increase in price is accounted for by the fact that you now require special castellated nuts for the eyebolts, which incidentally were taken care of in our quotations now under discussion, but were not actually enumerated therein. Also the A6 Series of Clutches are fitted with heavier pressure plates and thicker material covers, apart from additional operations required in producing such covers. Furthermore in the case of the 10" Clutch additional thrust springs are fitted.

We trust from the above that you will appreciate the necessity for the increase in cost, but as requested the writer will take an early opportunity of visiting your Works with a view to discussing this matter more fully, and will contact with you per telephone beforehand.

Yours faithfully,
BORG & BECK COMPANY LIMITED.
