Messrs. Newton & Bennett Ltd.,
Valetta Road,
Acton,
London.W.3.

For the attention of Mr. N.B.Newton.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 12th instant.

The clutch disc has now done a certain amount of running in a car, and so far has proved satisfactory.

We are continuing to run it and shall be able to form a more definite opinion of its merits when we have had a bit more experience.

In the meantime we do not think that any useful purpose could be served at this stage by a discussion.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
