Rolls-Royce Ltd., Experimental Department, Derby. Dear Sirs, We beg to thank you for yours of the 30th ult. The writer will take an early opportunity of visiting you with regard to the matters which you mention, and in the meantime will delay the adoption of the Crookes' glass until after his visit. We feel confident of its effect, but were a little doubtful as to whether you would be able to pass it, as it is not quite so transparent as the ordinary glass. We will communicate with you as soon as we have got a little further with the completion of the tests on the tank, fixing a day convenient to yourself. Yours faithfully, H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} HOBSON, LTD., T.P. Searight Joint Managing Director. | ||
