I understand Barker's say it is quite impossible to have this body ready by the date mentioned. We have not really been handling this matter; when Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} first asked us to help him to try and find a body, we were successful in doing so almost immediately and after starting the thing going with him and Barker's, we left it to him to fix up all the details, because for one thing, we were in the dark in regard to alterations necessary on an existing body to fit India 3. We believe Barker's wrote fully to Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} yesterday and we hear they are contending that they were kept waiting a week for a print to enable them to make the alterations to the back part of the body. We expect to hear that Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} is going to Barker's almost immediately to ascertain the best that can be done. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
