BENTLEY BONNET.

Thanks for your memo' Evl/IM.28.11.33, we rather expected that we should hear from you with regard to our negotiations with Park Ward.

We have certainly gone a long way with Mr. Ward with a view to getting the necessary understanding which will lead to interchangeable Bonnets, and also so that Scuttles can be made in bulk in advance of the receipt of Chassis.

We have done quite a lot of work in this connection, but it would be better if we had an opportunity of explaining to you when you next visit the works, or probably you can make a special journey for this purpose. We do particularly want to discuss this job with you.

The object we have in mind is that when we have perfected our scheme with Mr. Ward, that we can enlist your good aid to arrange with our other coachbuilders to work on similar lines. Now that we have done all the spade work in connection with making the first templates and rigs, it would be a comparatively easy matter to make a number of similar fixtures for the use of the other coachbuilders.

Will you please make a point of coming down to the works and co-operating with us in regard to this work.

Sft.{Mr Swift}
