Standard Bentley chassis except where modified by instructions and drawings. Steering - standard. Dashboard - 2" wider. Spare Wheel on side in new forward position. All fittings untarnishable. Petrol Filler on side of rear boot of Body. BODY. Four-door saloon to your drawing No.12127 modified in accordance with our LeC.5116. The chief features of this body are to be:- 1) Wider dashboard and bonnet. 2) Easier access to the front seats. 3) Narrower running boards. Body Shell Construction. The body shell to be constructed completely in aircraft steel, employing the latest design and technique as evolved by Messrs. Park Ward & Co. Willesden, London. Panelling. The body to be panelled in aircraft steel of a gauge recommended by Messrs. Park Ward & Co. Every precaution to be taken to prevent rust on the panelling and the interior of the structure, both prior to the preliminary anti-rust treatment and also whilst in service. | ||
