-2- Front Wings. Front wings to be of steel SWG.20, and to be of the standard width in front but to taper towards the running board from a point immediately aft of the spare wheel well. Stone guards to be fitted. Rear Wings. Rear wings to be of narrow overall width in accordance with Park Ward drawing and the same as the running boards. Stone guards to be fitted. Doors. Doors to be as thin as possible by the use of Bentley type locks and Ternstedt type door dovetails. Top and bottom door buffers are to be fitted, being attached by steel metal-threaded screws into steel dead eyes. The doors are to be hinged, the front door on the centre pillar and the rear door on the rear pillar. The external hinges to be provided with a method of lubrication. The doors to have the latest type of check-stops. The shuts of the front doors to be according to drawing, that on the near side giving the maximum ease of access and the one on the off-side as much ease of access as the spare wheel will allow. Front and rear doors to have interior handles on the lock spindles. All door glass to be of Toughened Triplex glass 3/16ths.ins.thick. Screen. Screen to open hinged at the top. Glass - Laminated Triplex 3/16ths.ins.thick. Head. The roof to be fitted with the latest pattern of sunshine sliding roof, a special effort being made to produce a roof slide which will not rattle. Front Seats. Cushions and squabs to conform to the compressed dimensions given and to have spring cases. Cushion to have a Laytex overlay. The seats to slide on the latest approved pattern of seat slide. The squab boards of the front seats to have an anatomical shape. | ||
