For the attention of Mr. West.

Dear Sir,

We are in receipt of your letter of the 4th inst., and beg to thank you for your courtesy in replying so promptly.

We note your remarks regarding the effect of leaded fuels on copper electrodes, but would respectfully point out that we purposely used copper alloy with a very high cadmium content which almost entirely overcomes the trouble which you mention. In point of fact, the writer has been running a super charged Lancia with these plugs fitted, and running on leaded fuels, and one set has already done 5,000 miles and after resetting of the gaps etc., it is fully anticipated that they will run for at least double this mileage.

May we suggest therefore, that you might consider running a test with these plugs, notwithstanding your views, as we feel sure that you will be agreeably surprised.

Yours faithfully
for CRERAR, MORGAN & Co., LTD.
