DAGENHAM.

Dear Manning,

I have now had a talk to Hives about our discussions, and he is hoping to be able to arrange to meet you with Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} sometime next week.

With regard to the cost of the body shell it seems to me that in order to make this attractive in view of the heavy tool cost involved, it will be desirable to quote for a commerical finish as you have done on the frame, and then if we demand something better, add the cost occasioned by the revised specification as and when it arises.

There is no doubt that the tool cost is going to be the thing that the Administration will find hard to swallow.

Will you please let me have the paper which I left with you.

Yours sincerely,
