WATFORD EW6 MAGNETOS.

We are sending into the stores an EW6 Watford magneto No.114788, which has been removed from an S.S. test bed engine owing to the complaint of a bad knock. It was concluded from observation and afterwards confirmed by inspection that the cause of this was the fouling of the armature on the pole pieces.

Will you please give instructions for this magneto to be returned to the makers and write to them to the above effect. We think in this case they will certainly be prepared to correct the machine free of charge.

EFC.
