-2- Contd. (c) All the fuse holder clips for satisfactory gripping of the fuse holders. It should be particularly ascertained that the emergency fuse clips and holder are correct, owing to the fact that a thoroughly good connection through this fuse is vital to the operation of the electrical system. (d) The fuses generally for correct sizes and for being satisfactorily gripped in the fasteners. As regards fuse wire sizes, these are 30 S.W.G. copper wire, except the main battery fuse which should be two strands of this, and the dynamo field fuse which is of the cartridge type. (2) A test shall now be made of the insulation between the fixed contact point and the base of the cutout (which is connected to earth via the series coil) by applying an alternating voltage of 200 through a 200 Contd. | ||
