re: PHANTOM III CLUTCHES
---------------------

We thank you for your Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/NRC.{N. R. Chandler}3/MH.{M. Huckerby}19.5.38 and note the position with regard to the lighter type clutch springs.

For your information Mr. ZOGRAPHOS, owner of 3.CP.114, is also complaining about clutch jaggers. Our Nice Depot fitted a cushioned type clutch plate to this car on the 12th. of January last (the clutch is not fitted with a packing ring).

We shall be glad if you could send us a set of lighter type springs for this car as quickly as possible, we also require a set for Chassis 3.CP.48 Mrs. BONDY. The Works have informed us that this car is fitted with a cushioned type clutch plate, but we do not know if it is fitted with a packing ring.

Please let us know when we can expect the springs.

Will D/BP. kindly note that when they are sent to us, they should be sent by Airmail.

Sr/VA.WD{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}
