RE MODIFICATION TO JAW CLUTCH FOR STARTER. - X. 3426. With reference to Mr. Johnson's remark on the Standardisation Sheet concerning this item, that we were to:- "Proceed with preparation but do not standardise until run equivalent of 10,000 miles." I take it that we should now put this into manufacture with all speed so that we may be in a position to deliver cars with this modified Jaw Clutch immediately we have had sufficient running with the modification to have some hope of persuading Mr. Johnson to agree.
