PHANTOM III STANDARDISATION of PARTS.

Description of Parts: Extra oil holes in spring drive centre plate to improve lubrication of cotton duck friction washers.
Origin: Dryness of cotton duck washers and subsequent alteration to slipping load.
Report of Experimental Test:
The slipper drive loading as checked after completing the 17,000 miles' run on 32-EX was considerably more consistent than after previous 15,000 miles' tests.
Report on test of 32-EX states noticeable absence of crank periods.
Cotton duck washers nicely lubricated on inspection.
