The Light Production Co. Ltd.,
60/66, Rochester Row,
LONDON, S.W.1.

For the attention of Mr. Brooks.

Dear Sirs,

Many thanks for your letter dated 4th. April enclosing your drawing P.401, which represents our piston EW.2121 with certain of your standard features incorporated.

We realize that the method of elliptical grinding to be adopted will not produce the bedding shown on our drawing, but as you say we can co-operate on such points when the time comes.

We are now enclosing drawings of another piston with rings to suit, EW.2170/1/2/3.

Will you please treat this in precisely the same way as EW.2121, make a drawing incorporating the necessary alterations and supply 14 pistons complete with rings.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
