EXPERIMENTAL BY/WER/EF9. 9. 21. Spring Lid{A. J. Lidsey} Rotherham Oil Cup No. 27 - Screwed ¼” - 26 T.P.I. R.H. Regarding D.50220D.C. Bearing Bracket, we have arranged for this to have slotted holes for the Securing Screws to enable the Bracket to be rotated to adjust the Brushes to the best position. Once this has been found the slots will not be required and the casting will be slightly altered to arrange for eight bosses. Will RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} kindly arrange to have a spare casting made with the metal shewn in red on the blue print cut away. It would greatly facilitate coring when producing this piece as a die casting and it is thought that it will not appreciably weaken the casting. Regarding D.50233/4/5 it should be attempted to buy these pieces in Bakelite Micarta, if, however, this is found to be impracticable then D.50233/4 should be bought in Mica and D.50235 in Micanite. It is thought that on production D.50245 End Plate would be produced as a Delta Metal Stamping. if for the experimental model you desire to have a casting it will of course be produced in brass. We are handing to EFC a blue print of D.50228 Commutator Brush for him to order in the qualities which he considers most desirable. The terminal D.50226 would be produced here and sweated to the Pigtail by us. BY/WER. WRK | ||
