"New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I" Suspension.

CJ is most concerned regarding a number of complaints we are receiving of the poor suspension of our "New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I".

He has issued the most strict instructions regarding the consideration which must be given to comfortable springing on the final tests of cars.

In this connection, we have a car here - 4-YG - a "Silver Ghost" fitted with 4-wheel brakes, which, in the opinion of "Sales", is a comfortably sprung car both as regards front and back seats. It is thought that some information may be obtained from a careful examination of the strength of this car and also the relative periods as compared with the weight of the body, the position of its centre of gravity &c., and for this purpose, 4-YG is being sent to "W" today.

When you have obtained all the information you desire from this car, will you please advise me and I will arrange for instructions to be given regarding its disposal.
