This car does not appear that it can ever be a complete After-the-War-Model, because of its unorthodox gear-box. Therefore it would appear rather extravagant to destroy the present 6-volt lighting tackle on it as it is serving its purpose well and is not of much use for any other car, it would be scrapping dynamo, battery, and lamps, unless these could be used up on some other chassis, because I believe you also have a starting motor of this same voltage, in this case you would be using the whole equipment up.

I do not think the 6-volt generator would be much use to me unless it were re-wound for twice the voltage It would also mean re-winding the regulators.

It does not appear that we have time to do this work at the present.
