re Phantom 2 Frontal Appearance with dropped front crossmember.

Referring to your recent memo in which you mention the front apron of the Phantom being brought further forward, we send you herewith blueprints of LeC.3751 and LeC.3752 showing the front apron, mudguards, starting handle and dropped front crossmember, as arranged for the P.2. car we are preparing for the 10,000 miles test, so that you can see in what way the appearance would be affected.

This front apron is a little further forward than standard but not more than 1 1/2".

The limitation governing this feature is the provision for sufficient room between the front edge of the apron and the bumper for operating the starting handle.

We believe the modification we have made, together with cleanliness in appearance brought about by the dropped front crossmember, the overlapping side wings and the corner radii off the tray, as shown on these blueprints, should have a very pleasing effect.
